Pop 10 Sofa and Pop 10 Armchair (colour pictures) are an association of a simple structural element with handmade joinery. This structural element is a mesh of rebar – or Pop mesh – that is cut, folded and welded to function as the base of the sofa and armchair. In contrast to the stripping of the metal base, the seat and backrest are made of solid wood boards that fit over the rebar, differing in material and plastic terms (empty x solid, flat x volume, hot x cold).
